Art Labs
Our unique Art Labs provide students with an in-person and up-close experience with artworks in the UAG collection. Instructors are invited to explore our collection database to begin to identify relevant objects. Please complete the group visit form to request this customized collection-based experience.
Group Visits
The UAG offers customized group visits for Pitt classes and clubs that connect our special exhibitions with class content. UAG staff will design a tour based on your class or group’s interests and goals. The UAG offers multilingual tours for classes and organizations by request. Student Advisory Council
Every semester the UAG welcomes a cohort of undergraduate interns and work-study students who can gain experience in collection management, engagement, gallery management and curatorial. For more information, please email uag@pitt.edu .
Specialized Research Projects
The UAG welcomes students and faculty to use the museum’s resources to extend their research through object-based study. To propose a research project, please email uag@pitt.edu.

Museum Studies Program

The UAG partners with faculty, students, departments, and offices across the University to produce exhibitions, events, and experiences that advance the museum’s mission. If you would like to suggest a collaboration, please email UAG director Sylvia Rhor Samaniego at sylvia.rhor@pitt.edu with a proposal and budget at least two semesters before the intended start date.
