Diversity and Accessibility

The University Art Gallery (UAG) is committed to being an inclusive and accessible art museum that welcomes all people; a commitment to anti-racism guides all of our work. Diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI) are cornerstones for the UAG’s practice and we aim to produce exhibitions, programs, and experiences that build on this commitment. We value a broad range of perspectives from our visitors, employees, volunteers, students, faculty, and community. We encourage our communities to share feedback as we build strength in these areas.

Services for Visitors with Disabilities

Everyone is welcome at the UAG. We aim to make our exhibitions and programs accessible to all visitors. If you have accessibility needs, please email uag@pitt.edu. This may include scheduling sign language interpreters, special seating, or other special requests. We will make every possible effort to provide accommodations to facilitate your visit.
